On October 22 and 23, the Hokuriku region's annual manufacturing technology showcase, TECHNO FAIR 2026 (Hokuriku Gijutsu Koryu Techno Fair), opens at the Fukui Prefectural Industrial Hall in Fukui City, Japan.

Our Japanese partner, Ensei Co., Ltd., will exhibit the 5-in-1 handheld laser welding machine at Booth T-66, running live demonstrations both days. Not a brochure, not a looped video - a welding torch on real metal, in front of you. If you have a part that keeps fighting back, bring it and we will weld it on the spot.

Why stop at T-66

In a conventional shop floor, welding is one machine, cutting is another, cleaning is a third. Every process adds a station, a footprint, and a person to run it. The 5-in-1 machine folds those processes into a single torch: welding, cutting, cleaning, weld-seam processing and marking. Change the head, change the parameters, and you have switched process - without moving the workpiece or rolling in another machine.

For small and mid-sized manufacturers, that translates into four practical gains:

Floor space. One machine replaces two or three stations.
Manpower. The handheld design does not require a certified welder. An operator is typically productive after one to two days of training - the point that matters most when welders are hard to hire.
Downstream work. Low heat input and a narrow heat-affected zone mean thin sheets stay flat and beads come out clean. In most cases there is no grinding or straightening afterwards.
Cycle time. Welding speed is typically several times that of conventional TIG on thin sheet, depending on material, thickness and joint design.

What you will see running

Live demonstrations throughout both days:

  • Stainless steel sheet, fillet and lap joints - penetration, bead profile, back-side appearance
  • Galvanized steel - controlling zinc burn-off and porosity, the problem most sheet-metal shops know too well
  • Aluminium - the difficult part is easiest to judge in person
  • Brushed and mirror-finish surfaces - weld without marking, ship without polishing
  • Switching between welding, cutting and cleaning on the same machine, in minutes
  • Post-weld comparison samples - one part shipped straight off the machine, one part that still needs half an hour of grinding

Who should come

Sheet-metal fabrication, commercial kitchen equipment, metal furniture, architectural hardware, switchgear and electrical enclosures, automotive and motorcycle parts, medical devices, food processing machinery, agricultural and marine equipment, retail displays.

The Hokuriku region is dense with metalworking, eyewear, textile machinery and architectural hardware - high-mix, low-volume, thin-sheet production. That is exactly where a handheld laser welder earns its place.

About our Japanese partner

Ensei Co., Ltd. is our distribution partner in Japan, covering sales, technical support and local service. The Ensei team will be at Booth T-66 for the full two days, handling demonstrations in Japanese and follow-up sampling and after-sales coordination.

If you cannot make it

Two days is short. If you cannot come:

  • Request a video demonstration, welded live on your material, thickness and part
  • Send a sample to our partner for trial welding; it comes back with process parameter recommendations
  • Book a post-show visit - the Ensei team can arrange an on-site review of your production line
